Summary

The purpose of this position is to manage or be a part of the team responsible for the detection and deterrence of the implementation of clandestine monitoring devices into US Government facilities that house and / or process classified materials/discussions.

 


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitor and detect unauthorized access to internal controlled areas during the construction period.
  • Deter the implantation of clandestine surveillance devices or systems by construction workers.
  • Control access to the construction site.
  • Use biometric, radiological and electronic monitoring/detection tools.

Skills and Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Must have at least three (3) years of physical security, technical security, and /or security management experience.
  • Must hold a valid certificate for the completion of a physical security training course or similar training certification.
  • Must be able to stand, sit, bend, walk, kneel, and other related physical activities for long periods of time.
  • Must have a solid understanding of the ICD/ICS-705 (version September 28, 2017).
  • Experience in technical surveillance techniques and procedures and knowledge of foreign intelligence and counterintelligence devices and techniques.
  • Understands and can assess construction terminology, procedures and practices. Understands and can assess industrial or government security requirements.
  • Current/Active SECRET Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Worked on three (3) or more ICD-705 construction projects in the past.
