As directed, the Warehouse Specialist performs a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan. Work involves most of the following: verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages, routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials, examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage, removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment. This worker may operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties. A strong understanding of the Army Installation Support Module (ISM) process as plus. Must have or be able to obtain a forklift license.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide core Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment (OCIE) services. These services include, but are not limited to, requirements determination, requisitioning (to include Special Measurement ordering on DD Form 358 or DD Form 1111), receipt, storage, and kitting of like items, maintain amnesty box, issue, turn-in, E-Order fittings, lateral transfers, hand receipts, temporary loans, maintain active and inactive files, direct exchange services to individuals, classification and disposal of unserviceable items, inventories, process adjustment documents, and use of AR 735-5, Installation Support Modules (ISM) for accountability and reporting. The contractor shall establish a procedure to file and retrieve issue/turn-in documents manually or use the automated filing system (if available). All work will be accomplished in accordance with AR 700-84, AR 710-2, DA PAM 710-2-1, AR 735-5, ISM Operation Manual, and CIFs standing operating procedures, which the contractor will provide.
  • Provide new OCIE Fielding Support services to include warehousing, conducting or assisting Program Executive Office (PEO) Soldier in issuing new OCIE directly to individuals or in bulk to units, uploading Rapid Fielding Initiative (RFI) issues and turn-ins in ISM and maintaining hand receipt records. All work will be performed in accordance with AR 700-84, AR 710-1, AR 710-2, DA PAM 710-2-1, DA PAM 710-2-2, AR 735-5, AR 25-400-2, CTA 50-900, ISM Operation Manual, CIF SOP and applicable ALARACT Messages.
  • Accept turn-ins of OCIE, determine serviceability of turn-ins, return serviceable items to stock and turn in items determined to be unserviceable / uneconomically repairable to the directed Supply Support Activity (SSA) after concurrence from the Government.
  • Conduct location surveys, special, cyclic and annual inventories in accordance with procedures established in AR 735-5, AR 710-2, DA PAM 710-2-1 and CIF SOP.
  • Provide electronic ordering of all RFI items for deploying soldiers. Contractor personnel shall be certified to fit Individual Outer Tactical Vest (IOTVs), ACHs, shirts and trousers.
  • Operate and maintain the Individual Chemical Equipment Management (ICEMP) and automated Mobility Inventory Control Accountability System (MICAS) system to document transactions. The contractor shall receive, store, maintain, inventory, and issue ICEMP items. The contractor shall track assets by National Stock Number (NSN), contract number, manufacture date and expiration date. The contractor shall identify and separate ICEMP stock with condemned shelf-life and ship stocks as directed. The contractor shall manage this effort in accordance with MICAS user manual and ICEMP User Guide.
  • Inventory all orders received within 3 working days, post receipts in LMP, schedule an appointment to issue items to individual(s), post the item(s) in the E-Ordering program and to individual clothing records through ISM.
  • Support PM-Soldier Protection and Individual Equipment (PM-SPIE) fielding of OCIE.
  • Perform OCIE Reset functions to replace damaged, worn out or obsolete equipment.
  • Must ensure all required reports are completed and that actions and safety requirements are met and adhered to.
  • nsure equipment transfers into and out of GCSS-A are correct, accurate and in accordance with policies and regulations prior to accepting any equipment.
  • Wear company ID badge at all times when performing work under this contract to include attending Government meetings and conferences and while on a military installation.
  • Wear company ID badge in a conspicuous place on the front of exterior clothing and above the waist except when safety or health reasons prohibit such placement.
  • Identify as a Contractor employee in all interaction with Government or other Contractor personnel during performance of this contract.
  • Adhere to company Employee Handbook Policies & Procedures.
  • Complete all required training within the allotted timeframe.
  • Execute training support during hours identified in the schedule. Personnel may be required to work a variety of schedules to accommodate the training requirements.
  • Help identify any safety hazards to the Marton Technologies’ personnel as they arise.
  • Adhere to all safety and health policies, procedures, and guidance.
  • Log-in appropriate hours into the Marton Technologies electronic timekeeping at COB each day work.

Skills and Qualifications


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Vocational or other postsecondary training.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of U.S. Army procedures and logistics information systems.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to perform various production control activities including gathering and filing records, reporting on use of materials, monitoring customer requests
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written


  • Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for extended periods throughout the day
  • Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders
  • Must be able to type using a standard keyboard to communicate through e-mail and various software applications
  • Must be able to lift/push/pull minimum of 30 pounds
  • Must be able to work in a shop where the environment is drafty, noisy, and dirty
  • May be exposed to extreme noise from operating equipment
