Unit Movement Officer and Deployment Planning Course (UMODPC) Facilitator

Pay Rate/Range: $22.79
Pay Type: Hourly
Duties include editing lesson plans, grading tests, updating tests, planning, completing additional training, providing remedial assistance, and other administrative matters. Responsible for training students assigned to USTRANSCOM, FORSCOM, USAF, and SDDC using the TRADOC approved Programs of Instruction. Instruct in a classroom and training facility environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
There are requirements to travel to conduct Mobile Training Team mission, both CONUS and OCONUS.
Facilitators are fully responsible for the instruction of various courses and blocks of instruction that supports this area and apply subject matter knowledge to recommend changes to POIs, lesson plans and acquisition and application of training aids and for automated deployment systems Facilitators shall support training objectives, complete, full-length courses (or major course units of comparable scope) to support Army Transportation and Deployment training requirements.
Skills and Qualifications
- Must have a working knowledge of and at least three years of experience working with UMODPC.
- Experience in a position as a facilitator in a military service environment for at least one year.
- Have knowledge base of automated deployment systems (TC-AIMS II, ICODES, GATES-S, and RFID/AIT).
- Must possess at least one year of college.
- Must have a certificate showing completion of UMODPC or be able take the course and pass the course.
- Must be able to perform moderate lifting (not to exceed 45 lbs.), long periods of standing, sitting or walking, and endure inclement weather conditions on occasion
